Kyndryl's Flexible Workplace Policy promotes a balanced work-life experience by allowing employees to choose their preferred work arrangements, such as remote work, mobile work, or customer site assignments.
While some jobs must be in office or customer locations, due to customer requirements, many can be remote. We believe that our global Flexible Workplace Policy helps Kyndryls achieve business results and work-life balance. The policy enables managers and Kyndryls to have open dialogue and agree upon what work location works best for each employee, the team and the customer.
The Kyndryl Be Well program is a key part of Kyndryl's commitment to fostering a culture of wellness and inclusivity within the company. This initiative focuses on promoting the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of employees. It includes various programs and resources designed to support employees in maintaining a healthy work-life balance, managing stress, and accessing mental health services. The program also emphasizes the importance of creating a supportive and inclusive work environment where all employees feel valued and empowered to bring their best selves to work.
Kyndryl Inclusion Networks (KINs) are employee-led resource groups aimed at fostering an inclusive environment for all Kyndryls. They focus on recruitment, retention, advancement, and allyship within specific communities, such as Asian American & Pacific Islander, Black, Hispanic-Latino, LGBTQ+, Native/Indigenous, People with Disabilities/Neurodiversity, and Women. Supported by executive sponsors, KIN leaders and members collaborate to enhance Kyndryl's culture, known as The Kyndryl Way.
Kyndryl is committed to environmental sustainability and aims for net zero greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 2040. By 2030, Kyndryl plans to reduce global scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions by 50%, and scope 1 and 2 emissions by 75%, while adopting 100% renewable energy. Our sustainability strategy aligns with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, focusing on climate change risk management, operational efficiency, and sustainable practices. The Kyndryl Sustainability Advisor helps clients measure and reduce energy usage and GHG emissions in hybrid IT environments using AI and machine learning.
Kyndryl Recognition features various programs through the Kyndryl Recognition Center, celebrating employees across all roles and geographies for their innovative contributions. These include annual awards for high performers, patent recognition, and technical achievement awards. Managers can award points or cash for significant accomplishments while self-funded recognition programs allow for special awards, promotions, and contests through points or cash awards. Employees can also send personal appreciation messages and eCards to colleagues.
