Overview

Social media plays a key role in the success of our brand and business around the world. As we continue to grow and amplify our corporate social presence, it is important to ensure that we are participating both effectively and appropriately on social media.

Kyndryl's corporate social media channels

Social media amplifies everything — the good and the bad. Any personal social content that features our name, logo or hashtags represents Kyndryl and must remain on brand, professional and appropriate.” is intended to be its own callout section. If we don’t have the ability to make it a clear callout section on its own, I would recommend deleting it entirely.

General usage

Social media access enables and encourages us to share insights and perspectives across the world. However, publishing anythng online has widespread exposure, so it's crucial to ensure that you are protecting the best interests of both you and Kyndryl as you post. Think about how you'd represent both yourself and Kyndryl in physical venues like offices or conferences, and treat online spaces similarly. Use your internal brand and compliance filters to only share or comment appropriately.

Remember that you are personally responsible for all content that you publish (including on personal social channels, blogs and beyond). All content showcasing the Kyndryl logo or likeness must follow brand standards and be approved by the brand team before it is published. Please ensure that any images or videos referencing Kyndryl in content or visual forms are created through The Lab or the Kyndryl Studio.

Posting do's and don'ts

Do's

  • Visibly identify as members of Kyndryl.
  • Make it clear and vividly expressed that you are speaking for yourself and not on behalf of Kyndryl unless you have appropriate clearance from marketing, communications and/or leadership.
  • Add a social media best practices disclaimer (this applies to blogs and content off of Kyndryl channels as well): “The views shared are my own and don’t represent Kyndryl.”
  • Be honest and transparent rather than using anonyms.
  • Respect privacy and security protocols — ensure that private matters are not shared on social media to avoid unnecessary or damaging conflicts.
  • Be careful with company mentions, tagging and hashtags on your social posts.

Don'ts

  • Do not post ethnic slurs, personal insults, obscenity, political/religious views or anything that would be considered unacceptable in our Code of Conduct and physical or digital environments.
  • Do not create images using the Kyndryl logo.
  • Do not post Kyndryl tags, hashtags or mentions with brand infractions and personal views.
